Can't think of a catchy title...

Trick or treating was fun (for the boys) and cold (for me.) We went back into the sub behind us for an hour and a half or so, and then headed to the mall. By the time we got there most of the stores were out of candy, which was fine with me! We went to Marty's restaurant for dinner, then came hopme and watched Ghost Hunters Live.

Of course, I fell asleep first. I am usually awake until 2-3am, but for some reason I was out at 11:30. Luckily we Tivo'ed it.

I decided to take the rest of the week off of school. We haven't taken a day off since Alex's friend came to visit, so we were due! Christian has decided to continue doing his math, so he doesn't "fall behind." I didn't ask him what he was afraid of falling behind and I'm not arguing with a kid that wants to do math! We are also doing the moon logs and reading.

Today we are finishing up the garage and running some things to the dump. Small things, but things that our trash/maintenance guy shouldn't have to take, like glass. We need to run the recyclables to the center, too.

The problem with getting rid of all of this stuff is that I now have a bunch of empty Rubbermaid totes. Not a bad trade off, I guess.

I have discovered that I have entirely too many blankets. Living in a house with heat that barely worked (and a landlord that did nothing about it) we collected a lot of them. I am going to sew some of the king sized ones together and put them into a blue duvet cover I have, and toss it on my bed. We will toss a few into the van - just in case - and will give the rest away.

I do have all of the afghans that my grandma made for the boys. They don't want to use them (afraid they will damage them) and I don't know how to store them. Right now they are in a tote, but it takes a lot of room. I looked into space bags but read a lot of bad reviews on them. I also read that you can make your own space bag kind of things with a Hefty bag, tape and a vacuum. The "reviews" on that said it worked about the same as the Space bag, but was a lot cheaper. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

**Another Urgent Pumpkin Chunker Update**
Ethan's design has changed again. I'm glad I gave them two weeks! I think they will need it, plus some. They are practicing with potatoes, because the first time they tried with pumpkins, they broke. I can get a lot of potatoes for what those tiny pumpkins cost!

**Moronic Neighbor Update**
I found out that the fine for a noise ordinance is up to $500, and 90 days in jail. Ouch. I don't know if I would have called if I had known that. Sure, I want it to stop, but the ones paying for all of this is their parents, not them. (None of them have jobs.) Not sure what that is going to teach them.

Well, now the city is involved in the garage full of trash. They got a call and came out. Their garage door was open, so he took pictures and issued a warning. If it isn't gone in a week they will get a non-compliance citation. I can't imagine that is cheap, either.

Other neighbors are fed up and complaining, too. It isn't just me, I swear! The retaliation is happening to other people, too. I'm not going to go into detail, but it is happening and is being documented.
